12 Weeks

I hope your Easter was as wonderful as ours! Unfortunately, our Sunday was so full of happy time with family (and a little bit of grumpiness by twins) that we didn't get to take an Easter photo. We sure enjoyed the family time, though! But I'm going to try to get another shot at it after I can get the dresses through the wash.

Even if I didn't get any pictures of the twins or the whole family, I did manage to snap a 12-week belly shot while the girls were napping. Since I know you're wondering ... yes, I'm still bigger than my first pregnancy. I'm probably about 4 - 5 weeks bigger, based on my pictures from last time. I'm not speculating; I'm just giving the updates. :)

Hair We Go!

Hubby's out on a bike ride, the twins are in bed, and I'm going to catch up on blogging. I know, I get wild on Saturday nights. :)

Tonight after bath time, I decided it was time for first haircuts EVER! I didn't want to change anything, but the back is growing more quickly than the front and I want to give it a chance to catch up. Plus, I wanted to cut a lock of hair for their baby books. So I only cut about a half inch off the mullets :) and one longer lock. Other than a little wiggling, the girls did awesome. I was worried about losing some of their cute baby curls, but it actually made their curls tighter ... so cute.

(Leila top two, Hadley bottom two)

On a pregnancy note, I'm surviving. The medicine is still working well, although it doesn't completely take away the morning sickness. My energy level is at zero, so our laundry / dishes / overall house cleanliness is a pretty big failure most of the time. Thankfully, Tony is gracious enough to overlook it, and he also pitches in when he's got time. Have I mentioned how much I love that guy?

Video Catch-Up

It's been a while since I've posted some videos. There are dozens of videos from my camera that I haven't even looked at, so don't be surprised if I take us on a trip down memory lane with a bunch of old videos sometime.

As usual, my disclaimer is that my camera doesn't take fantastic video footage, and you have to ignore my messy house. :) And yes, Hadley is chewing on a baby wipe in the second one ... we literally have to hide them from her.
